Philippians 1:9-11

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

What a powerful prayer this is.

May our love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight. The knowledge and depth of insight means the wisdom of God.

Being able to discern what is best is the result of having the wisdom of God, so that we focus on God and not get distracted by things of this world.

To be pure and blameless for the day of Christ is to be welcomed into heaven on judgment day. Not all who call themselves Christians will be welcomed into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 7:21-23).

To be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ tells us that the key is Jesus and not ourselves. Salvation is not something we can earn through our own ability, but it is given freely to those who believe in Jesus's resurrection (Romans 6:23).

And finally, to the glory and praise of God means this is only possible because of God and that we praise him because of this.
