Acts 27
Agrippa and Festus delivered Paul and some other prisoners to a centurian named Julius. They set sail towards Rome. Julius treated Paul kindly, allowing Paul to go to his friends to be cared for.
When they came to Myra in Lycia, the centurion found a ship sailing towards Italy and got them on board. After sailing for a few days, Paul advised them that the journey ahead will be dangerous and it would be better to remain. But the centurion weighed the advice of the pilot and ship owner instead and chose to set sail.
For awhile, it was just calm winds. But soon they faced tempestuous winds, and the ship gave in. Admist the storm-tossed ship, the crew started to jettison the cargo.
Paul says told you so, but also gives them encouragement that they will live for he heard from an angel of God.
Eventually, it ended in shipwreck. Thankfully, they were all safely brought to land.
